Published by Thomas on July 01, 2009

But often in our daily lives we forget and neglect prayer. 1) We forget the necessity of prayer. 2) We forget the power of prayer. 3) We neglect prayer due to sin (laziness, apathy, selfishness) 4) We forget that God loves us and wants to fellowship with ...

The King James Bible, preservation, and inspiration.

Published by Thomas on June 29, 2009
The King James Bible, preservation, and inspiration. As of late, there has been a huge uproar concerning the King James Bible, preservation, and inspiration. All the while, as some have mentioned, one man's definition of "inspiration" differs from the next. Some believe that there was a re-inspiration when the KJB / KJV was in the process of being translated. Some believe that the word of God was inspired and preserved throughout the ages. Which is it? Where do I stand? Where do you stand? I have no doubt that the KJV is the preserved word of God. I ...

"Oh, a Paulite huh? I prefer Jesus. I bet you couldn't quote anything by Jesus out of the book of John!" Where on earth was this guy going? He ...

For years, ...

Obama calls on Iran to ’stop all violent and unjust actions’

Published by Thomas on June 20, 2009
Obama calls on Iran to ’stop all violent and unjust actions’ "President Obama on Saturday called on the Iranian government to "stop all violent and unjust actions against its own people" amid calls for the White House to go further in showing support for the Iranian people after the country's disputed elections." Question: Why? Why has the U.S. been hiding whenever the freedom and rights of, as an example, the Russian and Chinese citizens comes into focus? If you're on the playground and the usual bully decides to pick a fight, you're in trouble. A common scenario: your big brother steps in. Hey, ...
